Prof. Dr. David W. Dent (PhD) author of over 100 articles, book chapters, policy papers, and opinion pieces on Latin American politics.
Dr. David W. Dent has written over 100 articles, book chapters, policy papers, and opinion pieces on Latin American politics, international relations, and U.S.-Latin American relations. He retired in 2005 from the Towson State University where he taught since 1972 several courses on United States-Latin American relations. Prof. Dr. Dent holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota. His thesis dissertation was a comparative study of public-private sector relations in Colombia. Amongst his main publications could be listed “Historical Dictionary of U.S.-Latin American Relations,” “Encyclopedia of Modern Mexico,” “The Legacy of the Monroe Doctrine,” and Historical Dictionary of Inter-American Organizations.”
